Its been a while since I last wrote on my blog. Our little family has been busy busy doing early spring cleaning around the house, putting the kids into activities so they can meet new people and learn new things, and just been busy with trying to keep up Alexis Trends.
Anyways last week Sister Kirsten Hosea left on her mission. The first grand daughter. She is leaving the Jacksonville, Florida. Sound like so much fun!! We literally had a week long get together. She had her farewell then we went to her house to eat on Sunday. On Monday we had FHE at the Temple and took family pictures. On Tuesday she got set apart then we all went to there house for coco and bread. On Wednesday morning we had a big last breakfast with everyone for Kirsten's departure to the MTC. Then headed out to Provo. That was that! She left and we went back to our lives! It was such a fun spiritual week.
This week Paige one of our good family friends left for school to L.A. on Tuesday morning. She had a little get together on Sunday night for all the friends and family. She is such a talented girl and very beautiful. This is the girl that my son is in love with!! She is 21 and my son is 3 hahaha. Age is nothing but a number right?!!!! hahahaha.... It's always nice to meet people like her.

I can't believe how fast this year is going already. Ray and I have been pretty good with the goals that we set. We have been making it to the temple when we can and we have been paying our tithing!! Yay blessings for sure have been coming our way! We have been some what been eating good but can do better. I stopped drinking soda again and next week will be cutting down on the sweets. I am way to big for my age and really have no excuse why this has happened!! We got Sofele into soccer and are all so excited. We are making progress and thats what counts right!
Our little business is going well this year. I have been crazy busy making headbands while my mom and grandma have been making all the outfits! We have got our stuff in 2 Quilted Bears now and some salons and Kid to Kid. We just have to be consistent and make enough stuff to keep everything full and flowing in the right direction. We have had craft nights for those who want to learn and they have been really fun. Its been fun learning and making.
I forgot to mention we went to the young women's conference on Saturday. The talks were so good I came home and re watched them online (www.lds.org) I learned so much and can't wait for this Saturday and Sunday. I always look forward to conference weekend because we are taught so much!!!
My favorite talk at the Young Women's Conference was by Mary N. Cook. Benevolence can bring joy and unity to your home, your class, your ward, and your school.
Sometimes...I wish we were still in Utah so I can go to one of your craft nights. I hope all continues to go well. I miss The Quilted bear and luckily we only have two Kid to Kid stores in Jersey. I miss your family and pray many blessings as you and your husband continue to attend the temple!! xoxoxoxox
