Wow it has been forever since I last blogged. I have been crazy busy and havn't had time to even sit down and blog. I don't know how some people do it.
Anyways new updates about my family...
I have a job!! ewwww haha Yes I work at Horizonte as a 9th-10th grade tracker. Dealing with about 60 kids a day. These kids are just crazy and have an excuse for EVERYTHING!! Some of the kids I actually feel sorry for because of the situation they are put in. But life goes on.
I am taking my photography to the next level by going to school and taking some classes at SLCC. I have been trying to get some side jobs for practice and to build some what of a portfolio. People seen to like you more when they can see what kind of work you are able to do. I've been learning how to edit pictures better and have been practicing on my kids alot. Now they love to be in every picture haha.
I am still making headbands for Alexis Trends and have a little booth at The Quilted Bear in Midvale. I make just enough to fill it up and make pretty good little side money. I love headbands and now my daughter Alexis LOVES headbands! We have fun dressing up and also having our craft nights to make all sorts of headbands.
As a family we all help out with our summer food booths as a vendor. We just bought a Ice shack that will be up and running next summer. Our plates are so yummy people always come back for more!! In it is the best teriyaki chicken ever made by my dad, then we have a crab salad that is to die for made by mom, and white sticky rice. The rest of us just help out where we can. Man I just got hungry!! ha...
I am still a mommy of 3 beautiful babies who are just amazing! They are my sunshine!! I still feed them a healthy breakfast in the morning, then I take them all a bath and get ready for the day. Then we take a morning walk so Sofele can ride his bike. After that we read books while eating a snack. Then I take them to my mom to watch them for a little while I work.
After work my kids hug me like they have NEVER seen me forever. We make dinner and play then I put them to bed so I can clean house and do what I need to catch up on.
The newest thing I have started is COUPONING!! I am totally addicited and love love it! I have saved so much money its rediculous! I find deals and add up coupons and price match after the kids go to bed. Dang doing coupons is not easy. Its like having another job!!! I have saved over $700!! I get 24 books every Sunday because I half everything with my mom who has her own set of kids and a son in college who has no time to shop for this kind of stuff. Another thing is that when you get something for FREE you can get it and send stuff to missionaries, use them for gifts, give them to the relief society sisters to help out other women and more!!! You can do alot of service!!! Im super excited to learn more about coupons!!!
Today is Wednesday and I have a photoshoot at Paul Mitchells taking pictures of different hairdos. I nervouse and way excited at the same time!!
Welcome back! I've missed your blog! So glad to hear all is well with you and your cute family. Keep up the good work in all that you do as a wife and mother. You have an incredible talent in taking pics, couponing, and just being a mom! That's awesome. It's amazing how much money you save when you seriously coupon! I am not a serious coupon girl, but need to get better at it. Luckily my kiddos don't ask for much...yet! Take care! Love ya!
